Before you think of appealing for the examination you must be aware of the eligibility criteria required for the exam. Gate 2020 :The eligibility criteria for educational qualification is fixed in order to maintain the same level of education and knowledge among the candidates applying for the exam. The candidates who have applied for SSC CHSL Application Form 2019-20 must be a 12th pass student or should have an equivalent degree from a recognized university. In case, the candidate is applying for the post of Data Entry Operator; it is imperative that the candidate belongs to the Science stream in the 12th standard examination along with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized board.
Age limit: As mentioned earlier, the eligibility criteria are maintained to keep all candidates at a same level and so is the Age limit to avoid extreme age differences among them. Though there are particular sections that allow the candidates from prerogative organizations to obtain age relaxation in certain circumstances. How to apply?

  1. Visit the official website ssc.nic.in and click on the link for SSC CHSL 2019 – 20 Registration.
  2. New applicants have to register themselves with valid Email Id and working phone number.
  3. Then a link will be received on your registered Email ID 
  4. Click on the link and fill all the required details correctly in the application form. 
  5. Upload all the documents, pictures, and signature that are needed or asked.
  6. Before signing the declaration you must preview all your details and verify them twice. 
  7. The page with the demand for an application fee will appear, submit the required fee through challan or net banking or debit or credit card 
  8. A page of confirmation will appear on your screen.  
  9. You will receive the confirmation on your registered Email ID and Mobile, however for safer side print it directly also 
Exam Pattern of SSC CHSL Tier-1:
SSC CHSLTier-1 is a computer-based examination in which Objective Type Questions will be asked. The examination is divided into four sections: English Language, General Intelligence, and Quantitative Aptitude & General Awareness. A total of 100 questions with 2 marks each on the correct answer and deduction of 0.25 for every incorrect answer will be the marking scheme for the exam. The duration for the Tier-1 examination is 1 hour i.e. 60 minutes.  
Exam pattern of SSC CHSL Tier-2: 
SSC CHSL tier-2 is a descriptive examination with the motive to assess the writing skills of the candidates. The exam can be attempted in any language i.e. English or Hindi via pen and paper mode. Two questions to be attempted in 20 minutes which counts an Essay writing question of 200-250 words and a letter/application writing of 150-200 words.  
Those who qualify both tier-1 and tier-2 SSC CHSL 2020 would be further called for typing test once the result for the two is announced to test their typing speed and skills.
